The Company Behind WeOpenOffshore
This site is operated by Cosmo IT, LLC, a limited liability company registered in Delaware, United States, trading as WeOpenOffshore. We are an advisory and introduction service: we help founders, investors and families choose a jurisdiction, we brief the licensed registered agent who files the company, and we introduce you to banks and payment institutions that onboard clients like you.
We are not a law firm, a bank, a tax adviser, a licensed registered agent, or a trustee. Every one of those roles exists in a structure we help you build, and every one of them is filled by a regulated firm in the relevant jurisdiction, not by us. Where a question needs one of them, we say so instead of answering it.
Four Steps, and Who Performs Each One
The second half of each answer matters more than the first. A buyer who thinks we hold the registered-agent licence has misunderstood what they are paying for.
Choosing the jurisdiction
We compare what the registry actually charges, what it publishes as its own timeline, what substance and filing obligations follow, and where the jurisdiction currently sits on the FATF and EU lists. Every figure on this site links to the registry, regulator or statute that publishes it.
Forming the company
A licensed registered agent in the jurisdiction files it. We prepare and brief the file, track it, and tell you what the agent needs from you and when. We are not the registered agent and we do not hold the licence to be one.
Opening the account
We introduce you to banks, EMIs and payment institutions whose risk appetite fits your business and your residence. The institution runs its own checks and makes its own decision. An introduction is not an approval, and nobody honest can promise you one.
Licensing, where it applies
Payment and e-money, forex, gambling and iGaming, crypto-asset services, and banking. The regulator decides. We map the requirement, the capital, the fee and the realistic timeline against what the regulator publishes.
Four Rules You Can Check Against the Pages
Two sources, one of them primary
Every fee, timeline, filing requirement and tax consequence on this site carries two sources with at least one primary: a company registry, a financial regulator, a statute, or a tax authority, linked at the point of the claim. If we cannot source a figure, we publish that we cannot rather than estimating it.
Reporting, stated not buried
An offshore company does not remove a tax residency, a filing duty, or a beneficial-ownership disclosure. Our pages state the reporting that follows, from CRS and FATCA to the FBAR, Form 5471, controlled-foreign-company rules, India's FEMA and LRS rules and economic substance, because a structure that ignores them is a liability, not a saving.
No secrecy sell
We do not describe any jurisdiction as a place to conceal ownership or escape tax, and we do not work on structures whose purpose is either. Sanctioned and grey-listed jurisdictions are labelled as such on the page rather than quietly omitted from a comparison.
Prices published, not quoted on request
Government fees, our own fees and what is genuinely variable are set out on the pricing page and on each jurisdiction page. Nothing on this site says 'price on application'.
What We Will Not Do
- We do not give legal or tax advice, and we do not review your tax position. We tell you which regimes apply to a structure and point you to a qualified adviser where you live.
- We do not help conceal beneficial ownership, move funds around sanctions or capital controls, or structure to evade tax. Those requests get declined.
- We do not promise a bank account. The bank decides, and any firm guaranteeing an approval is either misinformed or lying to you.
- We do not publish a jurisdiction we cannot source to its own registry or regulator, and we do not link competitors as though they were sources.

Full profileLegal and tax review
Not yet in place, and we would rather say so than imply it. Guides on legal and tax topics are held back until a qualified lawyer or accountant reviews them, with their qualification and jurisdiction named on the page. Nobody on this site is presented as a lawyer or an accountant, and no page carries a “reviewed by” line that a reader cannot check.
What is published in the meantime is the transactional and jurisdictional material, where the claims are registry fees, published timelines and statutory requirements linked to the body that publishes them.
Questions About Us
Who operates weopenoffshore.com?
Cosmo IT, LLC, a limited liability company registered in Delaware, United States, trading as WeOpenOffshore. Its registered office is 501 Silverside Road, Suite 105, Wilmington, DE 19809, United States, and it has a second office at Antisthenous 10, Office 102, Limassol 3086, Cyprus.
Are you a law firm or a licensed registered agent?
Neither. We are an advisory and introduction service. The company itself is filed by a licensed registered agent in the jurisdiction you choose, and legal and tax questions about your own position belong with a qualified adviser where you are resident. We say so on the page rather than answering them.
Do you actually form the company, or do you pass it on?
The filing is done by a licensed registered agent in the jurisdiction, because that is who holds the licence to do it. Our work is the part before and around it: choosing the jurisdiction and entity against what the registry publishes, preparing and briefing the file, tracking it, and telling you what is needed and when. Anyone claiming to file a Nevis or a BVI company themselves without a local licence is describing something else.
How do you make money?
You pay us a fee for the engagement, published on the pricing page alongside the government fee that goes to the registry. Where a registered agent or a bank introduction is a paid referral, that is disclosed on the page it appears on and the link is marked as sponsored.
Who writes the content on this site?
The guides and comparisons carry a named author with a stated, relevant background, and the figures in them link to the registry or regulator that publishes them rather than resting on the author's experience. Transactional pages, meaning the jurisdiction, service and licensing pages, carry no byline by design: what they should be trusted on is the sourced fee, the published timeline and the disclosed operator, not a persona.
Cosmo IT, LLC, trading as WeOpenOffshore, is not a law firm, a bank, or a tax adviser, and is not a licensed registered agent or trustee. This page is general information, not legal or tax advice.
You remain responsible for reporting your interest in any foreign company, trust, or account to the tax authority where you are resident.
Company formation is filed by licensed registered agents in the relevant jurisdiction. Accounts are subject to the institution’s own checks and approval. We introduce, and we do not guarantee that an account will be opened.
